This shortstory is about a sucessful Aboriginal going home to visit his less fortunate family. It is unlike things I usally read, but I loved the usage of slang. The kind of the language the author uses make it easier to relate to what kind of people the story are describing. It depics the hard times for his people, and how he is trying to fit in in the white world.

He was ashamed of his heritage almost wishing he could shower off the colour of his skin. Still he can not change who he is and still have love for his family. The story can be considered as postcolonial, describing the clashes beteween cultures and how the white man are in power, and sees the black as inferior beeings.
